Clown Skateboards has dropped a super limited City of God capsule collection of decks, to coincide with the 21st anniversary of this classic film's original release. The project has seen Clown team up with Damian Platt, Ademafia, and IN Action to help raise money for the CCD SKATE ARTE project in Brazil, to provide classes, cultural events, workshops, and lectures for locals.
 
The first drop of Clown Skateboards - City of God decks are now live, featuring artwork that is inspired by iconic scenes from the film. There are two stand-alone decks, Clown City of God Reefeemer & Clown City of God Clown'z decks, as well as a 3-deck pack inspired by the film's principal characters Armor, Armas, and Frango.

Established back in 2018, the CDD SKATE ARTE project kicked off a socio-cultural intervention in Cidade De Deus, whose inhabitants have lived amongst the horrific levels of urban warfare that we see in the film. And thanks to their efforts they've already succeeded in renovating a skate park in the favela, and collected 15 skateboards for classes, in addition to shaping a better future for the communities that inspired the film.
