Helas have returned for Spring 2019 with a clean 80's inspired Euro vibe to the new collection, featuring colour blocks, multi-coloured logo embroidery, stripes and graphic tee's. There's also some staple logo carriers for the fans of OG Helas pieces.
Kicking off with some retro feels coming in the form of the Wavy Quarter Zip in Black and Wavy T-Shirt in White, with some clear inspiration coming from the 1987 Stefan Edberg tennis collection for Adidas, with a re-worked Helas logo in multi-coloured embroidery.
The Havane Crewneck in Yellow and Havane Tee in White both pay homage to the ballers rum of choice Club Havana, coming with a full colour logo on the left breast and large print on the back. The crewneck sweatshirt is constructed from 100% heavyweight cotton fleece with a small Helas umbrella label on the front of the rib knit waist band, and really pops nicely in the Yellow.
If logos aren't your thing there's the Classic Striped Tee in Navy heavy weight 100% cotton tee with a horizontal Red stripe, featuring an embroidered Helas UMB logo, and subtle labelling on the front hem. And before the warmer weather kicks in you can also layer it up over a long sleeve tee, which will give it a real early nineties feel.
Blocks L/S Tee in Navy has a block panel design mixing Pastel Blue and Orange sleeves with a Navy and White body, and a Henley button-up collar. Again this top is made from 100% cotton with a regular fit like a thin sweatshirt with a one button Henley collar, White piping down the contrasting sleeves and Helas logo embroidering and labelling.
It wouldn't be a collection without some classic brand carriers and this season their UMB logo has been tweaked for the King L/S Tee in White, with a regency style lion holding the Helas umbrella in two-tone purple/lilac print and embroidered label on the bottom hem. And the Sportivo Longsleeve Jersey also features the Helas umbrella on an embroidered badge on the left breast, and nylon sports polo with tonal contrasting raglan style sleeves.
And of course there's also some caps to accompany the cut and sew line, and the Blocks Cap in Black is one of our favourites with it's Green and Red panels giving it a distinctly Gucci vibe. Made from a lightweight cotton sweatshirt material with White piping around the peak, an embroidered Helas logo on the front panel and contrasting White eyelets for ventilation.
