Adidas Skateboarding have collaborated with the super cool Japanese skate powerhouse Evisen on an exclusive shoe and apparel collection, and the first of which is dropping on Thursday 17th January.
If you're not already familiar with Evisen Skateboards it was established by Katsumi Minami in Tokyo, Japan in 2011. His aim was to create something that reflected the passion and creativity of the Japanese local skate scenes, in cities such as Sendai, Osaka and of course Tokyo.
The brand combines the classic Japanese Ukiyo-e influenced graphics with more contemporary designs, which gives it a unique and authentically Japanese feel. You can watch founder Katsumi at the bottom of the page shredding in his recent Evisen video part.
So it's no wonder Adidas Skateboarding wanted to team up for a much deserved collab shoe and collection. The Adidas 3MC Vulc Evisen Shoes in Cloud White/Scarlet/Metalic Gold have a stripped down design that's built up in all the right places, with a rich leather upper and a responsive outsole.
It features a low-cut silhouette with an EVA sockliner, metal ventilation eyelets, double foxing tape, a vulcanised HexFlex rubber outsole and Evisen logo branding on the tongue and heel.
In addition to the Adidas x Evien 3MC Vulc Shoe the accompanying cut & sew line will be landing soon, and we'll be taking a closer look at that soon so keep a look out.
