Hot on the heels of the Andrew Reynolds 480 colour-way a few weeks back, New Balance Numeric is now dropping the first shoe in a 480 "Ying & Yang" pack. This classic NB court silhouette which was first seen on basketball courts back in 1983 is being re-released, first of all in (Yin) Black full-grain leather, with an off-white midsole and accents. With the (Yang) White colourway dropping later, and we're sure they are gonna be an instant hit for skaters. Both black and white releases feature a new full-length FuelCell midsole, which helps reduce its weight and improves in-shoe foot response. Other features include high-abrasion N-Durance rubber outsoles and molded Abzorb insoles. In addition to the technical features of the 480 skate shoes, Numeric has also layered up on the toe-box panels, which adds much-needed reinforcement and protection from the abuse that skateboarding puts all shoes through.
