Jeff Han's Shanghai based skate shop, FLY Streetwear are the latest to team up with Nike SB and collaborate on a Dunk colourway. The new Nike SB Dunk Low x Fly Streetwear in Gardenia takes queues from both Chinese tradition and modern street culture, the shoes central theme takes it's inspiration from the elderly grandmothers that used to sell fragrant Gardenia's on the street corners of Shanghai, for people to hang on their shirt to smell nice and fresh, as perfums weren't really available. One of Jeff's most treasured memories being the smell of the fragrant back streets in the summer time, where he and his friends used to hang out and skate.

All of these subtle touches and details have made their way on to the Dunk Low shoe, with Jeff wanting them to be a link to the past as the city urbanizes and some parts of traditional Cinese life disappear. The intricately embroidered Swoosh and graphics recall sweet-scented bouquets and the lush Game Royal suede and pops of Key Lime boost your energy quicker than a whiff of the aromatic flowers, pairing perfectly with the crisp, petal-white underlays. Tying it all together, the crafted laces prove that no detail was left untouched. The shoe is signed off with co-branded tongue labels and custom artwork on the Zoom Air insole.
