Nike SB continue to collaborate with innovative brands and causes, with the latest being no exception. Doyenne is a brand & design studio run by women with a focus on inclusivity. Rooted in skateboarding and working at the intersection of philosophy, social equality and design innovation, Doyenne translates their values into curated projects and collaborations. Their approach integrates responsible sourcing with accessible design and authentic storytelling. Since starting in Glasgow in 2017 they stand for the creation of a culture that promotes collaboration, respect, support, and that is uplifting. So, it's easy to see why Nike SB were so keen to partner up with such an exciting and innovative movement.
Uni-sex fits and reversable garments are a re-occurring theme in the Nike SB x Doyenne collection, with standout pieces from the line like the Nike SB x Doyenne Skate Jacket and Nike SB x Doyenne Skate Trousers, offering a subtle neutral tone one side and a vibrant all-over print on the other. This represents everyone having more than a single side to share, which is a nice touch and of coure gives you more options and more bang for your buck. In addition to the reversable pieces in the collection there's also the cozy and versatile Nike SB x Doyenne Fleece Pullover Hoodie, made with at least 75% sustainable materials, using a blend of both recycled polyester and organic cotton fibres. Coming in two colour options and featuring a dual branded logo on the front chest. And, signing off the apparel is the Nike SB x Doyenne T-Shirt. This also comes in two colour options (coconut milk & sesame) and feature a printed abstract design on the back, and a co-branded logo in tonal embroidery on the left breast.
Last but by no means least is the Nike SB x DOYENNE Zoom Blazer Low Shoes in Coconut Milk/Rattan/Limestone/Rattan. Constructed with a full canvas upper made from recycled pineapple canvas, with layered taping. Which makes them not only hard wearing and comfortable, but also integrates responsible sourcing with accessible design. Then finished with the DOYENNE logo on the outer heel and co-branding on the custom Zoom Air insole artwork, and embroidered tongue label.
The Nike SB x DOYENNE Apparel Collection and Nike SB x DOYENNE Zoom Blazer Low Shoe will be available in-store and online from Friday 3rd March 2023.
