After a brief hiatus from the SB collection, Nike SB have brought back and updated the legendary Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski OG + shoe. Since it's original release back in 2009, the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski OG has been one of the most popular silhouettes in the brands history. The now iconic low profile, slimline deck shoe design was an instant hit with skateboarders the world over when it first landed in skate shops. Stefan himself had to battle long and hard to get the shoe made how he had invisioned it, but after a lot of persistance, hard work and communication with legendary footwear designer James Arizumi (Air Jordan, "What the Dunk", Nike A.C.G, Nike Concepts) the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski shoe came to fruition and the rest is history. Since then, we've seen many itterations of the Janoski, with other variations including the Janoski Max, Janoski Max 2, AC (Velcro), Lunar Janoski, Hyperfeel, Janoski Mid, Janoski Slip, Premium, Elite and Warmth.

And now we see the return of this modern Nike classic, with the new a Janoski OG+ set to release early next week. An all suede upper comes in a mix of pastel toned panels and a vibrant Red tongue giving the shoe a nice pop. The Black piping, embroidered Swoosh and OG leather laces. This time around the silhouette remains true to the original and later remix, but with the addition of a few subtle tweaks on the inside. A cushioned foam midsole and integrated Zoom Air heel unit provide optimum comfort and absorbtion, as well as optional cork topped insole, or classic. both featuring the "For Daily Use" logo.

It's no accident that he was only the second person to be given a pro shoe on SB, after P-Rod. Stefan Janoski’s natural, loose style is deceptively casual, almost undercutting the work it takes to not be calculated. Evidenced by his drive in designing his Nike SB Zoom shoe, Stefan puts work into the creative process. Perfecting his floaty flick in a small town in Northern California, Stefan stood out from his first full part in 2001 and has since used every opportunity to make an impact. This can be seen best in Janoski's stand-out video parts, such as Habitat - Mosaic, Transworld - Subtleties, Habitat - Inhabitants, Nike SB - Nothing But The Truth.
