Polar Skate Co has just released for Fall 2018, and we've chosen some standout pieces for to take a closer look at.
Pontus Alv and the Polar crew know exactly what they're doing, dropping their latest full video "We Blew It At Some Point" last week, getting everyone stoked on the skating and reminding us how incredible the team is. And following that up this week by dropping their new collection for Fall '18, packed with all kinds of rad coats, sweatshirts, t-shirts, hoodies, shirts, longsleeves and pants in a host of colours, patterns and stripes for the new season.
Everyones favourite Swedish skate company has come through with some real gems this autumn, with a solid choice of staples in a load of good colours. As well as the basic logo carriers there's also some stand out flavour pieces in the line too, like the Polar Art Shirt Alv in Black and White. This awesome short sleeved all-over print shirt comes in a regular fit with a left breast pocket and feature artwork from Polar supremo Pontus Alv.
If it's more of a heritage sportswear look you're after there's the Polar Tape Hoodie and Tape Sweatpants in Black. These are sold separately but you're gonna knock it out the park if you rock the full tracksuit. Both pieces feature ribbed hem and cuffs, Polar Skate Co woven taping down the arms and legs, adjustable drawstrings and constructed from 70% cotton - 30% polyester.
The Polar Surf pants have killed it over the last few seasons, especially in the different all-over prints for each season, and for Fall '18 they've come through with the Polar Stroke Logo Surf Pants in Graphite. These have a loose tapered leg that wear like a chilled parachute fit. Made from 100% cotton with an all-over Stoke Logo print and a Polar Stroke Logo label on the back pocket, as well as reinforced cut off marks. Move quickly on these cos they don't hang aroung long.
We've paired the Surf Pants up with the Polar 91 LS Striped T-Shirt in Sky Blue, coming with the Default logo embroidered on the left breast and also available in Grey Green. This is one many bangin' striped tee's in this collection, with others like Wavy Surf T-Shirt in Red Brick and the Big Boi Micro Stripe LS Tee in Navy.
Another feature of the season is French terry fabric which is seen on both the Terry Pullover in Sky Blue, and the Striped Terry Surf T-Shirt in Dark Green/Light Green. Either of these will inject plenty high end luxury vibes to your game, especially if worn slightly over-sized.
And with the colder months nearly upon us we've also had some warmer jackets from the line, like the Combo Puffa in Brown/Cream that's gonna see you through the coming winter with no troubles. This baby comes with a 90/10 goose down filling and is signed off with the Polar logo embroidered on the left breast, and if it's warm enough for the team in Sweden then it's warm enough for the rest of us.
As well as the cut and sew line there is some really strong headwear and assessories, with the Polar Corduroy Cap and the Cordura Dealer Bag both coming in a choice of colours. They've also extended their sock range, so there's now Stroke Logo Socks in addition to the Happy Sad Socks already on offer.
