Collabs don't get much heavier than this, with iconic instant photography brand Polaroid being the latest to collaborate with Nike SB on their own Dunk Low. The Polaroid x Nike SB Dunk Low in Black/Black/White takes its inspiration from the appearance of their instant film, with a mostly black leather upper and tongue, with the white framed edges represented by the clean white leather counter cover, featuring a small embossed Polaroid photo emblem, with the white heel then carries down to an all white midsole. It then all switches up at the multi-coloured and multi-layered Swoosh, which is reminicent of their iconic colour spectrum logo, originally designed by Paul Giambarba, back in 1958. More references to the Polaroid spectrum logo are seen on the custom Nike Air insole, multi-coloured embroidery at the top of the toebox and a choice of seven different coloured lace options. With the SB Dunk Low collaboration then signed off with Polaroid branding seen on the right heel tab, lace aglets and left insole. The campaign for this shoe saw SB team riders Sarah Muerle and Brian Anderson hit the streets of Barcelona, documenting their journey through the city with the iconic camera as they skated spots and navigated through the streets.
The Polaroid x Nike SB Dunk Pro Low shoe will be available through an "Enter Raffle to Purchase" basis only.
