Spring is here folks, and many of our favourite brands have just dropped their new collections for Spring '19. So for this seasons Bored of Southsea lookbook we've picked out a selection of choice pieces from the new arrivals and curated a series of looks from companies such Fucking Awesome, Stussy, Carhartt WIP, Champion, Bronze, Polar, Butter Goods and Dickies.
There's plenty of neutral and pastel colours, stripes, all-over prints, tracksuits and all sorts of branded outerwear from some of our best brands. To showcase all of this premium streetwear at it's pinnacle we decided to hit the mean streets of Portsmouth and head deep in to the the city's colourful retail epicentre, and then on to the seaside for a trip to the fun fair.
Some of the standout pieces include the super heavy weight Carhartt L/S Reno Shirt in Soft Aloe, made from 100% cotton 10oz garment dyed material and can be worn just as easily layered up as an over-shirt or just as standard. Fucking Awesome is coming correct as always with Jason Dills uniquely cool yet strangely sinister graphics that feature on the incredible all-over print of the FA Social Studies Ringer Tee, with it's collage of eclectic images and contrasting Burgundy bands around the neck and sleeves. And paired this up with the Carhartt Lakes Jacket in Metro Blue, which features and a retro style embroidered map design on the back and an embroidered logo on the left breast.
We also picked out the FA GDP Embroidered Hoodie in Green with it's vibrant contrasting Purple "Fucking Awesome" embroidered logo across the chest, and the poppin' FA Pinwheel Hoodie in Mustard with an all-over print on the hood and left breast logo print, and we layered this up with a Dickies Dellwood Vest in Brown Duck and some Levi's Carpenter Pants in Iris. As well as hoodies there's also a good variety of high quality classic crewneck sweatshirts and tracksuits from the likes of Carhartt and Champion, whether you're looking for some 90's inspired nylon shellsuit like the Carhartt Terrace Jacket and Pants in Dark Navy. And from the originators of modern sportswear Champion, we have a good selection of classic and contemporary pieces.
From the nineties court vibes of the Champion Half Zip Track Top in White, to the yacht club Euro feels of the Champion Striped Crewneck Sweatshirt in Black and White, these all look super clean and both feature a subtle left breast embroidered logo. Or if you like your logo's more in your face then the Vertical script Logo Crewneck Sweatshirt in Black with it's large embroidered Champion logo running down the back of a classic reverse weave crewneck sweatshirt.
These are just a sample of the good stuff that's landed with us, so scroll through below and check out some of our choices from the new season.
