Heroin Skateboards was established in 1998 by skateboarder and artist Mark "Fos" Foster, originally conceived whilst stuck in hospital with a broken wrist from skating. From the start, Fos and Heroin Skateboards walked to the beat of their own drum, sponsoring riders with original, innovative styles and trick selections. In addition to Heroin Skateboards, Fos has designed deck graphics for companies like Landscape, Toy Machine, Real, Foundation, Zero, Black Label, Creature, Baker, Deathwish, Primitive and Element. Along with the unmistakable board graphics, Heroin are best known for some of their now classic skate videos, Magic Sticky Hand, Video Nasty, Live From Antarctica and Bath Salts. Which you should definitely watch if you haven't already. In 2011 Fos moved to Los Angeles and Heroin started being distributed by Baker Boys Distribution (Baker Skateboards, Deathwish Skateboards, Shake Junt), ushering in a new chapter for the skate brand, and its now international team roster, Fos has still managed to stay true to his roots at the same time as successfully establishing Heroin in the United States and maintain its cult status with their loyal Japanese fans.
