Nike SB Dunk

The Nike Dunk is arguably most iconic shoes in the world, in 1985 the Dunk was born. After the blazer the dunk was the next generation basketball shoe, alongside the the Air Jordan. For many years the Dunk was a go to shoe on & off the court, street culture adopted it very quickly. Skateboarders skated the shoe in its natural form until 2002 when the Nike Dunk SB was introduced to the skateboard market with added cushioning, special traction and premium fabrics. Alongside the normal SB Dunks there was a growing interest from the ‘Sneaker Head’ world. Nike released many limited edition dunks in collaboration with artists, brands and music artists/groups, with super limited quantities produced. Some of the most iconic and most memorable being the Diamond ‘Tiffany’ Dunks, Pushead Dunks, De La Soul Dunks, Stussy Dunks, Supreme Dunks and Heineken Dunks just to name a few. In 2017 Nike professional skateboarder Ishod Wair got his own reworked Dunk called the “Dunk Low Pro” which featured his name on the tongue with a more lighter construction but not sacrificing durability but increasing board feel.
