Presented by Skate Like A Girl and Nike SB, Transenders is a short film by Diane Russo Cheng about skateboarder Alexa Berriochoa and her journey as a trans woman, navigating the culture that encompasses skateboarding, and what it means to transcend fear through community. The ten minute long film hears from Alexa as she shares her story and experiences, and how communities like Skate Like A Girl have helped to give women and trans people the confidence to start, or re-start skateboarding. Their mission is to push against the non-traditional, and to welcome anyone and everyone.
